Davids! My son is thinking of becoming a thread member. He was thinking about the handle, "Son of a Buck". I quickly changed his mind and he has now settled upon DAVID, a much saner name with a good background. DAVID is a great name. I would trade Buck for it any day. DAVID slew Golith! Buck is the guy drinking Billie Beer that got your sisters niece in Puketa Ar. pregnant. In fact, I think tomorrow I'll change my name to DAVID.

P.S. For all the new thread members and serious analysts, welcome. Between our deadly serious moods, we do have some fun on this thread. Laughter in the midst of chaos!

Proposed solution to the David identity crisis: Real David: Continue to sign as you always have. New David: How about signing your name with a small "d" as, for example, steve does to distinguish himself from Steve. Or maybe you could add an initial after your name. Anyway, welcome to you, new David. Be advised that the original David has a computer that is the equivalent of Woodward and Bernstein. A veritable deep throat of info. Jean

Hope you have better luck next week. I agree with the bio-id type of check. The instant check has proven to be the most effective method of stopping criminals from obtaining firearms, unlike the ineffective Brady waiting method. When your life is being threatened nothing works as an equalizer quite like a firearm, if the IDX bio-id method sped up the process and it could be guaranteed the records were not being used to build a database all the better. Like was mentioned before the cost of the equipment would be prohibitive though.

IDXER- I understand that TV has taught you and you believe that hunters and gun owners mix alcohol and firearms but that is not the case 99% of the time. Law abiding firearm owners have proven to be very responsible citizens, hence the rise in states now issuing right to cary permits and the subsequent fall in the crime rate in those states.
