Yes. I really like the Concerto in D Minor for the Left Hand. It was written by Ravel for a concert pianist who came back from the War missing a key extremity. Mr. Ravel wanted to demonstrate that serious music could be written for, and played by, the off hand. If I could play, it would be a fantasy to play this piece while holding (?) a beer or a baby in the right.
I DO play it loudly. The opening two minutes are this satiny crescendo that starts out quiet&slow - but by the time it's over you are 100% guaranteed wide awake. Jmho...
