Jim, maybe not that far off topic,Grandpa's in their infinite wisdom and knowledge, saw that simplicity and use was the answer to life. Maybe we should be looking away from complicated xDSL systems to simplified systems that are the easiest to implement and use. What would Grandpa do under these conditions? Build a highly fragmented,non-interoperable,highly complex network of high speed digital lines? Or would Grandpa look for the simplest, most economical, easiest to install and maintain system?
Grandpa Bell maybe would have been a wise choice for CEO of T,maybe Grandpa Armstrong can simplify this mess of communications, and make a system that is simple and easy to use for all of us.
Maybe Grandpa Armstong can make a system of highly integrated voice, video, and data that runs as smoothly as a 64 Mustang.
The future is to uncomplicate the systems, unjangle to wires, and unbundle the networks,so all of us can use it easily and without regard as to interfaces.
