Your response is thoughtful. You are right--time will tell. Just to give you some insight, I sell software to Fortune 1000 and federal gov't customers. In the last 6 months, there has been a very noticeable focus by my prospects toward requirements for web browser support of ERP-type applications. For these folks, the cost savings of deploying and maintaining new applications via web browser versus client server is very significant. Offering a product that is web enabled gives one a strategic advantage over others in terms of ROI and time to deploy.
