My strategy during this waiting game is:

1. Buy shares between 4 7/8 and 5 on Monday

2. Write the Dec 5 covered calls for 1 1/8 (the current bid) ,or more

3. Do the above in my Roth IRA ( I already did this in my son's IRA a few weeks ago, when the stock was higher...still good return on the moolah)

4. Realize 22.5% yield over the next 5 months....tax free.

5. If, by December's expiration, the stock has tanked....double down.
If it blasts off and is called away, no problema.

What do you fellas think?

Vegas Kate

I noticed discussion on this board about Michael Foods (MIKL). As long as its been raised for discussion, I'll add that anyone here who is truly seeking sound, growing companies with good earnings growth and solid fundamentals should look at the company. It has gone from 10 in April 1997 to its current 24 after reaching all time highs of 30+ in April. Since then it has been cited by IBD as one of a handful of companies that have pulled back from all time highs and seem to be building a base. It will earn 1.80 this year and 2.10 next year and is now selling for less than 12 x next year's earnings.

If anyone here chooses to invest, its pallisard who you should thank for bringing it up. Nice job pallisard.

For those who have expressed interest in Michael Foods (MIKL), it is only common courtesy to keep you posted that MIKL finished up 1 1/8 to close at 26 5/8 today. Also, there is a fine article in the Thursday issue of Smart Money that features the company as an outstanding value.
