hey, hitachi at 0.18 was posted on this thread several times. they started the lines in june.

Yes there are some Japanese and maybe a couple of Korean fabs at .25 or lower but for the most part Korea is .35 and Japan also. Logic chips are being produced on sub .25 but most memory over there is still .35. Funds are still the problem in Korea and I would expect closing and/or merging real soon.

***OT*** I don't understand how GTW, or DELL for that matter, could be selling for such high multiples right now. They should be real good shorts but I am not interested. I guess the Internet stocks are the only ones that are more overvalued right now.<g>
