Hey Bullrider, are you also bull headed or oblivious to facts!

Q) Do you understand what can happen to your position if there is a takeover, as is rumored?
A) Well let me give you a scenario which did occur to one on this board just about two weeks ago ( you can look back at previous post's) before and after they halted trading in SRCM. Actual scenario - the poster's name is Archer, he had the same exact opinion as you have today and was short the stock at 15 1/2 (I do not know how much he didn't say), however by his own admission by the time he covered his position, the best he could do (at the time after trading resumed) was 35 per share. He wasn't happy, though he thought that he made the correct decision - as the rumor was that the takeout was north of 45 per share.

Q) If Archer had say, 10 calls which is the same as 1,000 shrs. at say 2 or 3 dollars what did he lose versus almost $20,000. per thousand shares ?
A) I don't think you need me to do the math for you!!

Why did you wish me "Good Luck" if I explained that, I am hedged on the long side and would much rather SRCM to go up rather than down - resulting in my "GOOD LUCK" in essence being your "BAD LUCK."

I sincerely hope that what I have posted today helps you determine that what you are attempting IMHO is wrongheaded, even if nothing does occur re: takeover - the percentages are just not there for your course of action, choose another company to short - God knows there are so many other companies to short without the risk of the above mentioned scenario, ask Archer.

All the best,

Ax

PS ~ On second thought, don't ask Archer, as he is presently suffering from a severe case of SOUR GRAPES !!
