CELEBSITE, THE SOURCE FOR CELEBRITY INFORMATION, HITS THE WORLD WIDE WEB

Starwave and Infoseek Present CelebSite, the One-Stop Guide for Celebrity Information on the Internet

Seattle, WA (February 4, 1997)--Have you ever tried to find information about your favorite celebrity on the Internet? Curious in what film Tom Cruise made his debut? Or which Web site offers the real skinny on Pamela Anderson Lee? Look no further: CelebSite (www.CelebSite.com), the one-stop destination for everything "celebrity" on the Internet, has finally arrived. This new service will deliver a unique combination of a guide to celebrity Web sites, a built-in search engine, and tons of news and biographies on nearly everybody who has ever had their fifteen minutes of fame. Starwave Corporation, a leading producer of award-winning online services, has teamed up with Infoseek Corporation, provider of the popular Internet navigation service, to bring this new and exciting service to life.

Say goodbye to the hassle of sorting through broken links and boring celebrity pages. CelebSite allows fans to simply select a star from a list of 500 celebrities and receive an array of information-news, a quick reference guide, a list of recommended sites, an opportunity to explore the uncharted Web using Infoseek that would impress even J. Edgar Hoover.

Launching on February 18, CelebSite will offer:

Quick Reference Guide: Fans simply select their favorite star and they'll find everything they need: news, biographies, photographs, facts, and credits. CelebSite will keep fans up to speed on news of their favorite stars' movings and shakings.

Find Your Star: No longer will net surfers have to wade through all the muck to get information on their favorite star. CelebSite has done that already. Just enter any star's name--be it actor, actress, athlete, comedian, model, musician, producer, director, publisher, or TV personality--and CelebSite will deliver a hand-picked list of recommended sites.

Full Internet Search: Using the advanced technological capabilities of Infoseek, fans will have access to the entire World Wide Web. Infoseek will quickly provide a complete list of sites for any star. With one click, fans can initiate a full Internet search on their favorite star--all of this without leaving CelebSite's easy to use navigation.

CelebSite Members: By joining CelebSite, fans will be notified when their stars' pages are updated. Celeb-hounds will never have to bother with browsing again.

CelebSite is the only place on the Internet that provides such complete celebrity information all in one spot. From Michael Jackson to Michael Jordan, Rosie O'Donnell to Roseanne, CelebSite is the virtual Milky Way of stars on the Internet.

cm:

SEEK is poised for its next big move from a TA standpoint. The MACD seems to be ending the downward momentum, and the RSI is the lowest since the beginning of the last move to 42. Also we have confirming signals in the CCI and stochastics. The August 40 calls are quite cheap at 3/16. Currently I am buying up all the SEEK I can get and will buy more if it goes to 23 [Doubt it will go that low].

To all of the bears and shorts: Reread the posts in March and don't get burned again; This time the train won't stop at 40. Next move, IMO, is 50 to 60.

Good luck to all,

Jeff
