Bill Vaughn I think you are wrong about how a decision would have to be made if there were a $6 offer out there. ANCR management should know that if even one measly oem is announced, (publicly validating the effectiveness of the MK2) the share price would probably race past six like a blow torch through tissue paper. I wish I knew IF/when that first one will be announced.

Thanks for clearing that up Roy. That is still very interesting.

Do you have an opinion on when the larger oems like cpq, sun, hp, ibm, etc. will be able to implement switches into a workable san? It is a bit confusing when sun put up web pages back in early spring, i believe, describing what they were going to do with intelligent storage (i still recall the url to a diagram at their site with a big honking FC switch in the middle). i take it sun and others haven't changed their minds on moving to the san, in general. like you say, patience with the san world i guess.
