I noticed in the New York Times yesterday that it would take Hummingbird shorts 85 days to cover their positions at today's volumes, the highest such ratio on the market. At today's P/E, I take a certain contrarian satisfaction in the above statistic. For those curious to see which is stronger, the supposed tendency of highly shorted stocks to sink or that of undervalued stocks to rise, HUMCF makes an interesting test case.
