I was wondering how the government was running a budget surplus, now I see, everyone is going down to Arizona to stake some claims, and the Feds collect <G>. The patent office has become "self supporting" by all the application fees, issue fees and then maintenance fees we patent holders have to pay. Nice to see we are not alone in the boat.

Sorry Paunch,

These are not patents in maintenance. They are mining claims. If the rent money is not paid on the day it is due, there is no grace. I suggest you check with the BLM.
