Adaptec certainly doesn't turn out bad products, but I have run across better cards for raid type situation (the company name escapes me at the moment.. I'll look it up). Re: "who's scsi chips will intel use for their scsi on mb? adpt, qlgc, ncr or xyz? " Good question - I'll look for an answer to that. Well I seem to recall seeing adapatec on Intel's MB's, so save yourself the time of looking it up ;-). Re: "also, do you use margin much? in what ways?" Margin can be very useful - or very dangerous. I recommend using it very wisely - and sparingly. I think that is the best advice I have ever heard you give ;-) <G> Steve
