HI BOB!

THANKS for the suggestions which provide for some work on a nice sunday afternoon. I ran the scan with daystoload=500 and without it like i had it originally. The input was the same.
With daystoload i get 112 picks and with the old 92!! Out of these 92 only 77 appear on the new list. But it's not the case that all these 15 missing should be missing. About 20% of these stocks have actually ADX>25. The new scan with daystoload spits out stock which all have a correct. I hope i remember that right from college: it seems that the new scan you suggested has a high SPECIFITY but not a perfect SENSITIVIY. I'm not a perfectionist and it's not my way to try to understand all this and work 3 days on it. I like to trade and make money and i have also a job and limited time and not picking ALL the stocks with a certain criterium is fine with me.
I guess i should add the daystoload to all my scans using complex formulas. The simple ones looking for gaps up or down don't need that feature i assume.

Thanks again for your help!

Stefan

MAN, it's hot here in N.California(Cascade mountains)...i will go swimming in the lake nearby
