Anyone know when earnings are due?

Interesting to compare Deswell with American companies.

For example, compare Deswell with American circuit board manufacturers. I understand that the pricing pressure hitting American bare circuit board manufacturers has come from Taiwanese producers. Take a look at the share price chart for Hadco(HDCO), Praegitzer(PGTZ), Merix(MERX), Circuit Systems(CSYI), as examples. They have all dropped 50-70% off their highs since last year. Also their earnings have dropped as poor pricing hit their bottom line.

Its harder to find an independent company with plastic injection capability. I'm not aware of one that we can use as a comparable.

Hopefully Deswell's businesses haven't been hit as hard by the pricing pressures as these companies. However, I'm sure that they haven't escaped the Asian flu entirely. But the current stock price has a great deal of earnings deterioration built into the price. It will be interesting to see how their business is holding up, when we see the quarterly report.
