better, and why. Qwest is ATM and most others are IP.

If they are taken out by one of the lethargic giants, it will destroy the fire and spirit (as witnessed by Nacchio's interview statements recently) that makes them what they are.

When you inject new blood into an old man, you still have an old man in the end.

I agree. However, we are vulnerable. IMHO, the same was true for US Robotics when snapped up by 3COM, who (among other things) wanted the potential income stream to grow within 3COM.

Do we have anything financial going for us (poison pill) to prevent an untimely takeover?
