U.S. says Obuchi vows move on tax cut, stimulus
MANILA, July 26 (Reuters) - Japanese Prime Minister- designate Keizo Obuchi has told U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright he is determined to move quickly on a tax cut and new spending to boost Japan's troubled economy, U.S. officials said on Sunday.
The officials, briefing reporters after a 45-minute meeting, said Obuchi told Albright ''he would do whatever it took'' to revive Japan's economy.

''I can and will act promptly,'' one official quoted Obuchi as telling the American secretary of state, in Manila for the annual meeting of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.

Officials said Obuchi gave Albright specific proposals that appeared to track his campaign promises, including a tax cut of about $42 billion and a supplementary budget of about $70 billion.

Obuchi acknowledged to Albright his reputation as a career politician not known for taking tough decisions and officials said he seemed ''determined to prove otherwise.''

The amount of vitriol from all of the professed bulls (really wolves in sheeps clothing) never seems to amaze as to its direct correlation with this stock heading up. It seems the more frequent the desperate naysayers attemt to bad mouth the stock the higher the ensuing upward movement. That's right I said upward movement. Take a look:

Then imagine this stock romps up to infinity making the holders of this stock stock a mega-ton of money and wiping out your short.

Good Luck To Each And All

acidman, I think you are quite wrong, I think CYMI not only traces the group it accentuate somehow the up and down moves as the chart shown by Curly demonstrates. Furthermore, CYMI is acting in concert with another premier smaller actor in the segment with its own reasons for
being ahead of the curve, VECO. Look at their comparative chart

techstocks.com

and you will see that there is nothing specially nefarious with CYMI, just the same reaction to an extremely low BTB (.74). But guess what, acidman, cheer up, you got to ask yourself how much lower can the BTB go and for how long can the BTB be that low. That should tell you that the dark days of teens (and who knows, maybe very low teens in October or before) are not here for long.
