Yes, I meant to say production platforms may be hit in a high hurricane season that La Nina may bring. Of course, no one hopes for hurricanes (I have lived through a few when I grew up in New Orleans), but it can't hurt to ponder probabilities for investment purposes. I think your analysis has been quite insightful, for me at least.

With negative sentiment as strong as it is now, investors have their blinders on regarding such things as retirement of wells, depletion, etc. Soon, when the tide turns, the negative aspects of drilling will have been forgotten. It's the crazy world of Mo Mo investing.
