Satish.... the only time that EP or EM commented on the stock's price, using a specific figure(to the best of my recollection), was immediately after the latest split was announced. The comment was "we like to see the shares @ about $35." El

I believe the quote I read was something to the extent of "The DEC merger should boost the value of Compaq stock by $50 in the first year alone". I don't know but to me $50 + the current $30 value=$80 by summer of 1999.
