scba-- we know that HP is a bad pick. They look good, but they have too many employees and almost always disapoint at earnings time. Maybe a good short term pick between now and the next earnings announcement... but not beyond.

Question is: If you know he's off base on one thing, can you trust him on everything else? IMHO.

I know, I'm becoming a doubter, but as CPQ heads for swimming, once again in the 20's, I wonder if your love for cpq isn't too strong. You might be grasping at straws, looking for good news when, in your heart, you know it's wrong. IMHO

And I still own a lot of CPQ, it's a big red blob in my portfolio.
