Pretty good idea! I thought about that, too. TDFX must offer additional products to the gamer's community. 3D-glasses would fit perfectly into it's product line. Moreover 3D-glasses will have to be coordinated with head movements. Think about a dog fight, car race or any other game (take your personal favorite) where you can see your opponents by moving your head! I think such a product bundle with Voodoo 3(?) would boost revenues significantly.

That would definitely be cool .. the VR headgear technology is still in its early infancy with the exception of technology used in some DoD endeavours, which of course have astronomical price tags. The 3D glasses that have hit the market in the past years have yet to receive real market acceptance.

What does this mean? It means there's another market 3Dfx can crack wide open, if they've got the guts and the brains to make it work like they did the 3D card market. Very, very risky though - but if they can develop the technology, they will definitely lead the pack.
