remember the first "irrational exhuberence" speech -- instantaneous result. Now supposedly it is a week long response.

I just think it is downright silly to attribute the markets move last week just to Greenspan.

I do find the idea for individual stocks of a "slow absorption" of information to be relevant. Many times there are initial warnings that something is not right, there is anecdotal confirmation, then undeniable confirmation.

I think the PC sector is in between anecdotal confirmation and undeniable confirmation (as far as the general market is concerned -- IMO it is clear that there is undeniable trouble there, now).
