Then let me rephrase that statement: Because of the success of the demonstration conducted by Tim Collings for Bill Clinton and Al Gore, laws were enacted that mandate the implimentation fo the V-chip in TV's sold in America. The rest is history. No representatives of Soundview nor PG were present at that meeting in an official capacity. It was Mr. Collings' invention that created the drive for parental control devices, dispite claims of it having been invented years ago by others. Without Mr. Collings, we would not be having this dialogue.
