Forbes, as CEO @ CUC, has to take the fall for this malignant deception that occurred on his watch. The only thing worse than the deception is Forbes still being active in CD management.

As for Silverman, he enabled this epic con to be consummated on his watch. He made an enormous error in judgement (hindsight here) by accepting the DD, his subordinates and their handpicked consultants supplied, as the basis for going forward with the deal.

I want to see Forbes go as soon as possible. I would like Silverman to continue with CD as I think Forbe's departure will stave off the bears on the street. That being said, Silverman must prove conclusively that he has a firm hand on the helm of CD. Forward guidance must be honest and forthright in order to restore confidence in the company. This is no time to be fancy, simply saying "Ok, this is what we're left with and this is what w'ere gonna do about it" would go a long ways toward shoring up investor confidence. The company has assets that virtually speak for themselves here. Let the company get back to what it does best and the past will be conveniently forgotten once they hit numbers and prove they're still on the right track. IMHO.
