I suggest you look at DEC's press release in Feb, 1998. I am
always wondering why don't people look at formal published
information but 'articles', 'insider information' etc.

Why aren't they at 0.25 NOW. IBM got there a year ago, Intel just after. IBM going 0.18 this fall, Intel 1H99. Ya gotta have all the pieces...architecture, design, process and yield to compete (not to mention market acceptance, something it looks like Alpha will never get, at least not at enough of a level to matter).
