tbonenyc,

The following is extracted from LA Times (read #7688 for the complete article) :

According to CDA/Investnet, a Rockville, Md.-based service that tracks insider activity, Chadha sold more than 750,000 shares in the second half of last year at prices ranging from $2.13 to $7.50. Chadha said the number of shares he sold was about "500,000 and change." Chadha said he didn't want to sell the shares but had to do so. His wife, Sharon, the majority owner of now-defunct Buzz magazine, used the shares as collateral to borrow money to fund the publication, Chadha said. But as Osicom's price fell, the brokerage house that issued the loan began selling the shares to guard against losing money if the share price fell further.

IS that a STRANGE thing that the CEO had to sell the share because he had no money to pay a loan collateral after a while, he got a million to buy back shares. Note that Mr Chadha only started to have a salary from Osicom in this year. Can you tell us why it is NOT strange???

tbonenyc, I don't think it's any secret that the reason I didn't short FIBRD is because it was listed as non-marginable at both of my brokers on Friday. I posted that here. Message 5303197

I don't recall commenting on Par's promise or not to buy shares, I don't believe I was aware that he had promised to buy shares. Regardless, he let those shares be taken in a so called "margin call". If you don't mind the subterfuge, then I suppose your in the right company.

You have been railing about investing in this company "too soon" since before I left the Yahoo! thread. Since the stock is only a few ticks away from it's 104 week low, I guess you were too soon as well. Actually, the reality is that never is too soon to invest with this company. I recall you telling me that the stock simply wasn't a good short sell at 15 (split adjusted, of course). Looks like you were wrong.
