From GLOBES: Clal Biotechnology's First Investment: Purchasing 25% of D-Pharm Shares

Clal Industries signed today a memorandum of understanding to invest $10 million in D-Pharm for 25% of shares (20% fully diluted). This is the concern's first investment in the biotechnology field and is in accordance with corporate strategy.

Investments in biotechnology will be dealt with by Clal Biotechnology Industries. Clal Industries' management estimates that biotechnology has one of the largest growth potentials in the coming decade, and the company intends to augment its investments in it.
