Let's assume that AMD ships the $4-5M K6's this quarter and loses $100M after tax rebate (quite likely IMHO)

Let's assume 4M. Even if ASP doesn't move up from $82 in 2Q (well over $100 for the 0.25u parts being manufactured now), CPG group will have $ 328M sales. If other groups drop another $20M, sales are still at $615M, up $90M from last quarter. How do you figure a BIGGER LOSS.

At a reasonable ASP (>$92) or sales above 4M units, AMD is profitable.
