Hi Chris,

If you take a closer look at Tom's article, he didn't get the chip he tested from S3. From the tone of the article, I gather that the folks at S3 wouldn't give him one because they think he's an a**hole. After reading the article, I'd have a hard time disagreeing with anyone of that opinion. If you read carefully you'll find that he admits he managed to get hold of a bootleg copy that didn't have all the drivers installed. Evidently S3 technical support offered to show him what he was doing wrong, but he's too stupid to admit he needs help.

Always consider the source. Being an expert and claiming to be an expert, are not the same thing. Even fools have opinions and will certainly share those opinions with anyone who will listen. Long live the internet!

Regards,

Don

The results at Tom's were either rigged, or he didn't know what the hell he was doing. read the reviews at Cyrellis (www.cyrellis.com) or Anand's (www.anandtech.com).
