Well, at this point I have prayed much and have come to only one possible conclusion based on the fact that our Lord is not the author of confusion, and I've seen as many totally saintly people who are convinced they will stay here on the ground as totally saintly brethren with bags packed, tapping their feet, waiting.

That's why I will enjoy reading every single scripture--but NOT from the mouths of people who have already interpreted them for us. Bible only, with at LEAST two verses in front of and behind the "rapture pro/con quote". No verse in the Bible stands by itself, including the shortest, Jesus wept. There are several sentences before that explaining exactly why he was silently crying.

Since "could any good thing come out of Nazareth?" continues to strike me as very, very good droll humor, I wish we had a scripture which shows that when Jesus was told that was the only thing Nathaneal said when they first tried to tell him about Jesus to see if Nath was interested in coming to join them. I am convinced in my spirit that the Lord did have to laugh outloud.

Love scripture. But if it turns into a New Cov/OT squabble, which it will somehow, it is doomed.
