Question to all: Has Frank ever talked about a technological migration strategy for their customers, which includes FNet? I mean, it's only a matter of time before DVGs like the Tempest are rendered obsolete. There have been introductions by the heavy hitters already, like Ericsson, who are getting around the need for separate "gateway" hardware (I believe). The Ciscos, Lucents & Nortels of the world will move in in force and capture the hardware side of the business. With it eventually becoming a commodity market (3-5 yrs away) like routers, ethernet cards, etc have become. This is why I think Frank's FNet strategy will work.

IMO, the crux of FTEL's future is in evolving into a "full-time" nexgen telco and less a manufacturer of the hardware. Eventually using whatever curent technology makes sense for their network; bought on the open market or contract manufactured for them.
