Dear Del, My son was taught last year in a public school that the earth started with a big bang and then life evolved from there. I will get the exact name of the text for you, for this is one of the Countries highest esteemed school systems as well. I was shocked for it is not good science nor is it current. A big bang in the Universe leading to all this life takes allot of faith, where a careful plan by a Creator is more rational to me. I just don't see why the lack of an open mind. Nancy
