I understand that on WDC's CC this am they announced a 10.1GB desktop drive that they have 8 quals for and commitments for "volume shipments" from 5 OEMs. Since they are producing this drive now, and seemed to indicate it was part of their "value line" does anyone know who is providing the heads? They also indicated on the call that they are focusing around 2 head vendors for their non-IBM (i.e. value line) business, which they indicated could be " a good 50% of business". Does this bode well for RDRT? Thanks for any help.
