To all:

Here's a little snippet posted on the Invest/LTD thread(a haven for bears, shorters and naysayers):

09:45 ET Dow -27, Nasdaq -18, S&P -4.19: Much better than expected for now,
compared to indications from the pre-open futures trading... that's the good news...the
bad is that tech stocks are weaker across the board with Internet stocks particularly
weak, and breadth is very poor with decliners ahead of advancers by 3-1 in early
NYSE trading...also, Barton Biggs, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter global
strategist says we have entered a bear market and he expects a 20% to 30%
correction over the next couple of months.

It seems to me that MRVC has been there, done that.
One other observation. MRV's usual pattern has been a pre-earnings run-up followed by a sell-off. It also has a real knack for reporting good earnings on bad market days. This time it only has half of the equation (i.e., a bad market day). Do y'all suppose that there might actually be a chance for a post-earnings run-up this time? Odds anyone?
