I am thinking of dropping JDS since it has done nothing over the past 4 to 6 months.

For the very reasons you mentioned, I'm looking to add.

Stock action is typical of an issue that is underfollowed and distributed thinly. Sure, it will drop from now to October but I think it is a well managed company with excellent long term potential. Definitely not for short term traders unless you trade on break out (at $31). Otherwise, buy and hold is the way to go. For the record, I have been long JDS since early 97 and will continue to add on weakness (recent $22 range).
