Doug,

As I posted over the weekend, there is risk in VLSI to 15. That's only another $1 down. I don't think anybody can predict stock prices with any great certainty. The risk to reward is much improved now, even buying it at 15 7/8. I guess one could try to pick the absolute low in every stock they buy, but that's not my style because I don't think it's possible. IMO, one would miss many opportunities trading like that. VLSI is an excellent trading stock, but one in which I phase into by averaging down as it approaches support. Given the volatility and trading range, this strategy has proved to be very effective with this stock.

Like you said the other day, it's a matter of one's risk tolerance. I have been doing very well trading this stock while others remain on the sidelines watching it go up and down in a $5 trading range. I'm certainly not saying this to slam you because you are most definitely entitled to make decisions based on how you see things. But there is an implication in your posts that others have been wrong to hold VLSI and I disagree with that. Maybe I am reading too much into your posts. If so, I apologize in advance.

Best of luck.

Dan
