Agree,,, then there is BCST temptation,, also ,, even bears are calling it being over sold.. I would bet GCTY will go IPO ,, fairly soon .. also internet has no relevance t0 Asia ,,or slowing of economy,, rather it will be a sanctity for the general funds.. If so ,, who is the most safe internet play .. CMGI with over 30 titles to it's credit,,it's venture capital fund,, where you can buy stocks like LCOS for 50 cents ,, ROFLMAO ! By the way folks,, real professionals who are involved with CMGI are reading this thread,, for your info .. Looks like I am winning as it is hitting ,, 77 1/4

Major Gathering by Avatar fashion competition in the Theater ======================================================================= Just four weeks after the beta launch of ColonyCity, more than 8,000 people from all over the world have been visiting our new online community. Most of them settled down, got a house (even with swimming pool) and somehow involved themselves in the city operation. On September 8th, there will be an avatar fashion competion held in the Theater. The event will be in 6 weeks. That should give you enough time to build a fabulous avatar. We will set up two shows on one day, so people from different time zones don't have to get up at 3 a.m.! Judged will be the download size (try to keep it small), functionality/gestures and originality. Let your imagination flow, we're looking forward to see a lot of unique avatars. The City is expanding so quickly, that we have almost problems to keep up with all the things that happen in and around the VRML world. New neighborhoods have been added, building sites have been opened up and new features are implemented. We ve even created our own ColonyCity time zone to make it convenient for people all over the world to arrange meeting times. Visitors, Newbies or Members meet at the Plaza, chat in the cafe (if the music is not to loud!), get information on the latest news and the city structure in the magazine or just read a newspaper in the library. People are having birthday parties in their houses or hold meetings in their 3D living room where they discuss the further development of ColonyCity. The graphical representation of avatars in the avatar list now indicates the client type of each avatar. This may be "3D" for blaxxun CCpro users, "2D" for CCstandard users and "BOT" for robots. 3D Performance blaxxun CC3D s performance has been improved by optimizing the render algorithm (culling) and by processing VRML inlines in a separate thread.
