craig, good points all around. You definitely have to be quick on your feet to short the internet hi-flyers. Take the money and run. And anyone buying puts on these stocks in my opinion simply doesn't know what they are doing. These puts are insanely overpriced and the risk/reward ratio is the worst in the known universe. Only buy puts when they are dirt cheap, which they haven't been anytime I've looked.
I've been a critic of anyone shorting yhoo for more than a quick hit and run but an interesting opportunity may be presenting itself. Supposedly the evil empire itself is considering coming out with a "portal" web site sometime. All I have heard about this is vague rumors but if msft really does develop a search engine site then I think yahoo would go down for a sizable hit, kind of like what is happening with real networks right now.
