Doug:

I think near Ottawa, if memory serves. Close to Lake Ontario, St. Lawrence Seaway junction.

Doug, Smiths Falls, is a really nice little town 40 km or so south of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. I had a couple of customers there back in 1976. One a soap manufacturer and a transport operator. I doubt it has grown much since then.

[We Kiwis are peripatetic - I worked for Texaco as an industrial salesman. We have a 21 year old Canadian son].

Dubbo, Australia is also a really nice little town, though much bigger than Smiths Falls. Which I visited last year with the main idea being to check out the gateway construction. Which was going well.

Maurice

PS: Just as well you sold all your Globalstar at $72 and bought Q.com at $48, what! William Wang, if you are reading this, see what I meant about Qualcomm having better short term prospects. Hi to Helen and the tribe...

Doug,

Smith Falls is 30 miles southwest of Ottawa or almost half way (as the laser flows) between Toronto and Montreal.
