It took positive earnings news from American Express along with a buy program to lift market. With the market looking for direction, I guess it does not take much to give the market a reason to move. It is interesting to note that the DJIA is leading this rally just as it lead the retreat.

I see the DJIA went past its open which was the high of the day, doubled back to bounce off that price as a support, and now is a key resistance established yesterday. All it needs now is a well placed buy program to send it further. 8990 is the intraday resistance which the DJIA is sitting at right now.

I am not convinced of this bottom even though it appears we have formed one for the interim. Lets see if the market validates this bottom by retesting it or continuing up from here to move past yesterday's high of about 9000 and closes there.

chris, i stepped into intc, wla and aol leaps. i hope i was not early.

wla filled the gap it created at earning.
intc i posted yestereday looked strong. and also tk is not negative that means we have his blessings.

did not buy/sell dell. just sat thru it all. w. aug. options still holding.

orcl was strong today but did not jump in.

all above buys strictly for trading ... i m not adding anything to long term. i will be moving mony out of the market as time progresses
and put into fixed mony.

i need to reduce positions in dell as we go forawrd. i got too much in to it.
