LOD, you're right. That's why the April vs July factor becomes important in the case of DELL's report.

For Q3 & Q4 I assumed 13% sequential unit growth with no ASP decline. Gross profit & operating expenses remained fairly constant on a percentage basis. Average weighted shares were reduced by 10 million per quarter.

LOD, it is my understanding that the figures are from April 1 through June 30. If this were not the case you would get very skewed comparisons, because December (which is a big retailing month) would be included in CPQ's fourth quarter, but not in Dell's.
