Yes, of course, what you're saying is true. However, I don't think we are in a "black" area, as in totally dark. It seems reasonable to me that we should be able to come up with a ball-park type figure of MU's new output per month.

I have not seen it but would appreciate it if you can find out. I believe the bit production for Micron is now at 50% 64mb chips if that helps you.

What's kept them from being able to manufacture these PC 100 chips? Probably you are going to say: money.

Certainly money. Also PC100 compatible chips are more complex and the yields are low. They also require different testing facilities so more engineering and capital for that part of the manufacturing process too. Now you have to remember with cash strapped SEA companies borrowing more money in a sector they can't show a profit may not happen this time. Especially when MU showed all their cards and said we are in this business to stay and even increased their company by 50% to show them they are serious. So who is more crazy, MU who threw all their cash and expanded or the other Dram co's who will stay in the business.
