jimmy don't get so carried away with yourself or you'll get carried away. there will be a retest of 1130, You're Mr. Empty Pants if you think the correction is over. This is a bounce off an oversold condition. Don't be a sucker.

Jim: I'm finding 15% bid-ask spreads on my smallcaps. Fishy, eh?

Hi Jim,

As we said last week, we both expected this bounce. However, I sold my calls today and took my profits...can't stand to leave them on the table <grin>. The thing that bothered me today was the indecisiveness of the move. Not what I expected. Be careful on the long side until the market really shows it is determined in it's direction...and then be careful anyway <grin>.

james,

i just cant see the small caps making a run. the money flows to large caps when there is buying. i can see the market heading higher for the usually very predictable end of month buying. after that im cashing in my nasdaq 100 calls for puts. i do not think the indexes will hit new highs in this run, but the markets bullishness has far exceeded my expectations too many times to rule it out.

is this small cap rally something that has occurred with regularity in history?
