Sonny, great post. I really don't think there's any real money to be made here for the little guy. I'm just sitting on the sidelines watching the institutional circus. With todays spread, can you imagine how much Vinik made? Probably more than the 'CommonMan'.

Anyone having some Jan'99 puts ideas, please reply:

For some strategy discussions, like: If it ever hits 140 again in next few weeks, what would Jan'99 100 puts be priced like? Also, how did it behave on last 5-6 Fridays i.e. for deciding whats the best time to buy puts etc.

If NASD hits the downdraft again in the next few months, what are your support levels for AMZN, by Oct end and after December tax-loss selling is over.

Not following AMZN too closely in the last few weeks; would appreciate any response.
