Lisa,

>>>>>>>>> new high new lows is something you have been looking at very closely for awhile wasnt there a period when we were going up like gangbusters ...breaking out...where the new high -new low was terrible but we still kept going up and so the same thing could happen this time before we fall off the Oct cliff? <<<<<<<<<<<<

I lost all my data when I had to get my new computer, but I do recall that around early MAR the NEW HIGHS were declining while the market was still climbing, but it never got this bad or even close to these levels. I believe that during MAR the NEW HIGHS were dropping from the 200-300 range to the 100 range and the NEW LOWS were rising slightly for 10-20 to the 30-50 level. The NEW HIGHS today was only 27 and the NEW LOWS was a whopping 315. Thats a big difference from MARCH.

I have to agree with PATRICK. This market is being manipulated by the BIG BOYS so they can suck the smaller investors in to hold the market up long enough to get out at better prices.

Lisa,

Mood remains Negative by the big boyz because of Breadth according to Alan I am a Bear Chernoff

Well said.. I dont mind someone having an opinion, and I am not a perma-bull but this guy has had nothing but gloom to say since he has been where Bob PPpppp was...

I prefer someone to tell the numbers and quit the rhetoric.. That is what makes the DELL thread so crappy, it is either a huge parade (main thread) or DELL haters (Bull thread).

Bob P does that well, talks about buy/sell programs, and what traders are saying.. Just seeing Alan makes me think the futures are going to dive..

Did you see that piece on DELL on CNBC? Took them 30 minutes to get to it, and the woman seemed uneasy answering questions.

it ought to be good for the NAZ though..

How would you like this in your living room...

onsale.com

Sold for 1/3 retail.. not that I need one..

Hi Al, DELL high of 110 does not yet give it a buy signal, a 112 would be a double top
and it takes a 114 for the new buy signal RS still in X's and way above the trend line. It
formed a lower top on the last column of X's, so until it gives a new buy signal at 114,
I'd hold off. The sector is Bull Confirmed at 44.5%...

Just my thoughts

Hey y'all. Things movin' and shakin'

I know, I know. The market was up 90 points and aren't we just tickled pink. But as
always, I'm here to slap some reality down on the table.

Today we saw:
- in the new buy signal corner: 3 total.
- in the new sell signal corner: 42 total.

Say what? Yes, more new sell signals then buy signals and all ya'll know what that
means...The NYSE BP has got to be feelin' it. In fact I'm going to go out on a limb here
and say it will move another box or two down this week.

The Optional Bullish percent did reverse down today.
This does not paint a pretty picture folks.

Keep an eye on those stocks, no hail Mary's. Keep an eye on sectors too. Some of
those that reversed up this month are now weakening and showing signs they will
reverse down. You may want to think of how to insure some of your prize possessions
of loss due to market decline.

I'll be updating more often because of the recent conditions. Those of you on DWA,
pump up your portfolios to include Indexes and sectors. These will help guide you. You
can also put in the BPNYSE, BPOPTI, 10WEEK and HILO to track the market.

Take care,
