Hi Jim: I use the DJX to trade. The premiums appear more modest compared to the other option indices. You can use 9 month options that are reasonably priced and it takes a 200 point move on the DJI stocks to make a decent profit.

By looking at the Yahoo U. S. Markets page you can see very clearly what happened today. The OEX vs. the SPX ; the OEX and the SPX vs. the MID and the SML; and the NDX vs. the IXIC. Big money wants to buy and little money wants to sell. It has been that way for the last two days.

What if we looked at breadth not exactly by
issues, but by shares outstanding..( to be more accurate we would
need to look at Float ) but getting that on an index would be
to much work.
