In general these guys probably can't believe their good fortune about how much the stocks have already run up propelled mostly on dreams. These experts are no slouches and they will be monitoring the charts and sentiment trends closely. One of the surrest confirmations of market tops (or reverse for bottoms) is when good news has little or no positive effect and bad news starts having a more pronounced negative effect. Recently we have seen better than some expected bogus earnings for AMZN (depending on which accounting method you look at) and some vested buy ratings or re-issued ratings. While the stock was trending up these attempts to cause the stock to rally further have failed.

My thinking is that the market makers will sell into rallies because they will see that the momentum has shifted and the inet stocks could move quickly lower.

Many of the inet stocks have been split recently and more splits are likely - giving the opportunity for the insiders to start dumping shares. I would not be surprised to see some secondary offerings. Bezo or Covey did not mention anything about another split or a secondary. It still could happen but it may not have as much effect in moving the stock higher as the bulls would hope.

My guesses probably aren't as good as some who are more familiar with Vinik and other hedge fund operators.
