Impressive strength from PMCS in the face of another significant sell-off. Have read the two big telecom deals announced this week (AT&T/BT, Bell Atlantic/GTE) will drive demand for PMCS' products. Apparently these two alliances will be expanding their communications reach and will need equipment (likely w/ PMCS chips) to do so. The reason I became interested in this stock is that a few months ago it seemed everyone was signing its praises -- an Asia-proof chip stock -- they called it. Now that earnings are out and the Nasdaq is teetering, the analysts are not even stirring. I think a good company in a growing industry during a mild correction is a good idea. One of the few high-quality values left in tech -- Scott.
