The "rally" had its origins around 11:30 to 11:45. I have noticed that over the last several sessions that the Big Boys used the thin period over lunch to push a market move one way or the other. Now on a thin period on a very thin day, the MMs juiced the name stocks (DELL,YHOO, etc) over lunch to trigger technical buy signals. The eventual uptick was struggling at best. I just hope that we can make it till Wednesday. I took a few long positions in mid-afternoon that I would like to dump in the positive over the next few days. This weak rally with all the MM gamesmanship indicates that this market has the potential for another 5+ % downturn IMSO.
