LoD - As you and Jim Kelley have so eloquently pointed out, IDC and Dataquest measure sales in for CPQ and other channel based companies, but for Dell sales out = sales in. So CPQ looked a lot better than it was in 4Q97. But now the IDC numbers don't reflect the 12 weeks of inventory taken out of the channel - so CPQ's numbers will look low by about 50% and MSD still has a ways to go. Thanks to the Dellheads for clearing up this misunderstanding in the measurement systems...
