Jefferey,

I wouldn't necessarily believe that the offering of the notes would tend to drive share price down. Notes are not dilutive of share value as an IPO or secondary offering might be. The notes are subject to conversion, but that is seven years out. I'm not predicting that THQI will go up tomorrow either, but I don't think that the offering of convertible notes will be a driver.

Re: "On buying MPRS or someone else", maybe...but there was a long list of uses..."...for the acquisition and development of new properties and titles, expansion of the company's foreign distribution, acquisitions of or investments in other companies and general corporate purposes." $60MM just doesn't go as far as it used to. My favorite has always been "general corporate purposes".

Best Regards,
Jim

Placing $60 million in bonds thru a private offering is a vote of confidence to the management team of THQ. AMZN did the same thing recently and saw its stock price soar. This new debt is obviously not negative if it is put to good use. Successful companies need funds to grow bigger and buyout other companies. I don't see other companies such as CSCO being penalized for this type of business strategy. We'll see.
